Bwahaha. I, John Martone, am your chef. Today we will be focusing on a fairly un-conventional sounding way of making Teriyaki Chicken. No kitchens or stomachs were harmed in the making of this video.

You'll forgive the lack of music and sparkles, Gia is just supremely better at the editing magic, though she did grace us with her skills on a blooper reel. Thanks for that one...

COME TO OTAKON AND BRING ME SOME CHICKEN!!!

does it taste any different when cooked by someone with much less soft hands?

@Newten:

Kell loves orange soda...

Is it true?

I do, i do, do-ooo

It turned out pretty good. Next time I try it I want to try letting it soak for awhile first, because I felt it could have seeped more into the chicken.

@Stigsan:
I dunno, and no, I'm not gonna be at Otakon sadly.

@Newten: I do! It was pretty much the entire reason I chose this recipe.

@Devilly: I'm gonna pass this on to Ethan, but the video is functional on its "News" double. Weird.

Should work now BTW in the forums and on the news page.  It's a bug that has been fixed for all your news post going forward.

@Devilly: Well, its a real light teriyaki, which isn't entirely unexpected. On the plus side its super moist

For the next time I want to try cooking the chicken in a taller pan, and keeping the chicken almost submerged. Also, soaking it for awhile before hand. They could fail, or they could be awesome, who knows?
