Anyways, here's a brief comment on each alternate costume of my favorite comic character of all time. Starting with:
Black and Gold = The colors that are often used to paint Storm's costume. The red gem on her costume is still present. This is Storm's recent costume which at times also colored on different shades of blue and gold. This alternate costume also reminds me of Storm's first appearance in Giant-Sized X-Men #1 on May of 1975.

Silver and Gold = Or we can also say white and gold for this alternate costume. The images on the right was the time when the Uncanny X-men were unquestionably the greatest and most popular team worldwide... the 90's! Of course we cannot forget the times when Storm talks a lot to summon her powers in Uncanny X-Men: The Animated Series. I feel like wanting to watch the cartoon series all over again.
This pretty much reminds me of her being the best ( and the most versatile ) character in Marvel vs Capcom 2.

Black and White = Haven't really seen much from Storm wearing her recent costume in black and white color but what really made this different from her other alternate costumes is the white pattern on her cape, the design which the late Michael Turner used for drawing Storm as being a temporary member of the Fantastic Four for cover arts on issues: The New Fantastic Four #544-550.

Violet and Black = Most people might be surprised that Storm actually wore this color at some point. Clearly, this wasn't a popular color costume from Storm, but for anybody who went to Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, this is not new. There's a large image of Storm wearing in violet and black, welcoming you to take a tea-cup ride called Storm Force Accelatron, and help her beat the master of magnetism, Magneto.

I surely can't help but sing MVC2's very addictive song: Wanna take you for a ride, tenenenet, tenenenet! (a million times) : )
Blue and White = Inspired from when Storm became an Asgardian Goddess in Asgardian Wars, the kind of shade of blue they've used make Storm more beautiful to bask on. How I wish they made her carry the stormcaster which transforms her into a Thunder Goddess.

Blue and Gold: There was a time when all the x-men wore the blue and gold x-uniforms, and a red belt with an x-symbol indicating their membership as an x-man. The colors do look pretty on Storm's recent costume and reminds me a lot of her on her gold alternate costume in X-Men vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 2 as a goddess-tier.
I'm definitely interested to use the new alternate costumes, though I really would have wanted the all-red alternate costume to be available still. Right now, I could say i might main the violet and black costume. But it can change.
But what I'm most excited about is her mohawk alternate costume, available as a DLC. This kind of Storm look is pure awesomeness for me.
