I asked some folks at Comic Vine to lead you into the Deadpool franchise.

@Project_Worm:

A friend of mine in the comic books discussion thread of AV asked which Deadpool comic books should he start on. Being a new person who haven't read comic books, it's hard to keep the thread alive.

I would say to start with the ongoing that began during the Skrull invasion. THIS ONE. I guess he could jump in wherever but he definitely needs to read the DEAD arc.

Revamp:

I'm not big into Deadpool, but Joe Kelly is considered the Deadpool writer. He basically created Deadpool after he was created.

@takashichea:

Sorry it take me so long to reply to you, I have been very busy

Anyway, thank you for the link. But I would have to pass watching it on youtube

Still mad about cartoon network not showing it

The Constantine movie was TERRIBLE.

It had NOTHING to do with comicbook Constantine!

Calvin and Hobbes is my favorite, lol.

But I looove the UnCanny XMen. Colussus was definitely my favorite.

I really need to read some comic books. Otherwise, I'm behind you guys and unable to discuss.

@MarioRedfield:

I heard they kill off Spider Man when the folks were talking in Comic Vine, but a world without Superman, I cannot imagine it.

@MsSlicingClaws:

Would UnCanny X-men be more closely related to the original 90's X-men Animated series or the Wolverine and the X-Men? I think I start on reading X-Men instead of reading Batman as my first comic book.

@takashichea: Oh, I agree. Let's just hope they don't get that desperate for ideas and do that.

Been loving the Batman Death of the Family story arc so far. Joker is more psychotic than ever.

It's more like the '90s series, though, you can find Wolverine and the X-Men comics also.

I like the Wolverine and the X-Men series, havent read the comic on that yet.

Comics eh. Vertigo has many great series, such as The Sandman, Fables, Saga of the Swamp Thing, Preacher... In terms of Superheroes, recently I read the post Ragnarock Thor saga, Planet Hulk, The Dark Knight Returns and Superman: Red Son (Communist Superman). Sin City was great fun. People may think that comics like Bone and Sam & Max are childish, but the are doing themselves a disfavor. Also there's Mauz. On my list to avoid is Holy Terror, The Dark Knight Strikes Bakc and The League of Etraordinary Gentlemen: Century.

I love Sandman and Fables as well. Also I was a fan of 100 Bullets.

@MarioRedfield: Scott Lobdell is an excellent writer.

Although, you forgot to post the rest of the scans, from Superman #13.

Brian Azzarello is an excellent writer. You should check out Superman: For Tomorrow.

@leofull: I have and it was good.

@MarioRedfield: Because I was showing respect for Superman like you did.

@Sonata: Agreed. Are you ready to read his future run on New 52 Wonder Woman?

@leofull: Didn't know he was doing it. Been off and on with Wonder Woman.

I like the idea, and I thought Amazing Spider-Man 700 set it up well.
