Trying to make a decision on what mech anime to watch, or rather watch "first". I have looked into both of them, and they both caught my eye, but I want some help on deciding. Any pros and cons between the two that someone can help me with comparing them?

They are both good, but Diebuster is far shorter time commitment.  Watch that first.
