...Or “ita-guitars,” as Sankaku elects to call them. A few obsessive (and very quick) anime fans in Japan have already emblazoned the cast of Kyoto Animation's new music series K-On! on their guitars, and some of them actually do look pretty cool, even if the show didn't tickle my fancy as much as I'd hoped. (Still need to get around to watching that second episode though.)
I can't tell if these are just vinyl stickers someone had made or permanent decorations-- maybe it's just that my favorite anime tends to change too much, but I can't imagine permanently doing something like that to an expensive item like a guitar. How about you? Are there any shows that you like enough / have liked long enough that you'd permanently engrave on something expensive?
imo the second episode was much better than the first Gia, even if one of the characters was a bit illogical at one particular moment.
Wouldn't owning the same model guitar as your favorite character be better? I mean, playing a guitar that has designs that don't exactly flow with the guitar's natural design doesn't strike me as being as cool as playing the same one as them. Plus then (if you're a girl) you could cosplay the character and it would be epic.
I don't see anything wrong with that. I've seen videos where some Japanese otakus decked out their cars with huge vinyl stickers and other things so these little guitars are pretty average next to those.
