Naruto 487
Summery: The fight with Sasuke is officially over, everyone can finally accept that it should be Naruto who fights Sasuke. After Sasuke retreats he asks Madara for Itachi’s eyes, for his are kind of sucking right now, and he wants to curb stomp Naruto with his full powers. Back in Lightning country Killer Bee and crew return from their battle with Kisame. However Killer Bee did not come back empty handed, for he returned with Kisame’s sword Samehada, who is attracted to Killer Bee’s power and rap skills.
However, as the black half of Zetsu buries Kisame’s body, he tells his other half that everything is going according to plan, for Kisame is actually hiding inside of Samehada, and the Kisame that was killed was actually just a perfect clone created by the white Zetsu. The chapter ends with the reappearance of Kabuto, using the powers he received from Orochimaru’s remains.
Prediction: Things are not looking good for Killer Bee. Sooner or later Kisame is going to hop out of that sword and beat the honey out of Killer Bee when he is sleeping. Though on the other hand Samehada might actually be on Killer Bee’s side, and it ends up eating Kisame. Other than that we might see Naruto and crew returning to Konoha, planing out what the next step is going to be for their clan.
Final Thoughts: I’m so happy that those two love birds finally separated, so that we can move on to more important things. I’m truly surprised that Kisame is actually alive, and hope he puts up a better fight then he did last time. I also hope Kabuto isn’t just another bad guy, so that he might actually help the leaf with their dilemma, but I doubt it.

One Piece 578
Summery: Blackbeard decides that not only is he going to tear down Marine Ford, but destroy the island as well. Hearing this Sengoku gets royally pissed and decides to take on the Blackbeard pirates all by himself. On the other side of the island Akainu has defeated Ivan and is now coming for Luffy once again. Because of the frozen ocean, Jimbei can not easily escape into the water, which makes him an easy target for Akainu. Jimbei gets punched through the chest, and Luffy get’s burnt, though it isn’t fatal.
Things are not looking good for the two, but before anything bad can happen to him Crocodile appears and starts whooping ass! He blows Luffy and Jimbei away, who are snatched out of the air by our good friend Buggy the Clown. Now things are not looking good for Akainu for the rest of the Whitebeard pirates show up to reinforce Crocodile. Finally Luffy and company are dealt a lucky card when a pirate ship rises from the ocean to help assist Luffy’s escape. It is no other than Trafalgar Law, who says it would be uncool if Luffy dies here, for he is a doctor.
Prediction: With Luffy in good hands this arc is about to end. However, it is not going to end this chapter, I can still sense a chapter or two left before this war is finally finished. Most likely we are going to see Luffy and Jimbei begin to get their wounds treated, and Akainu vs. the entire Whitebeard crew; though once again I believe this fight might be cut short thanks to Blackbeards power as he destroys the island.
Final Thoughts: Damn this was an amazing chapter. One Piece can really use more Crocodile, and I get super excited every time I see his frowning face. I was also definitely not expecting to see Trafalgar Law show up in the end, but glad he did; I always wanted the Supernovas to have more story time. Soon we will be able to see what’s in store for the Straw Hat Pirates next.

Bleach 396
Summery: It is time for Ichigo to beat some Aizen ass! After an initial strike that causes a hefty wound across Aizen chest, the two square off exchanging blows, but it goes nowhere. Aizen informs Ichigo that he lost his chance to kill him, for that was his last opening. His wounds instantly heal, which Aizen informs us is not due to him being a hollow, but him having the Hougyoku in his chest.
Of course Aizen wouldn’t be Aizen if he didn’t tell us about how everyone around him sucks, and this chapter isn’t an exception. He then tells Ichigo that everything he has done throughout his shinigami career has been executed according to his plan.
Prediction: Aizen now has the upper hand, and Ichigo is going to get his hollow mask handed to him. Though we will probably see Ichigo go into hollow mask version 2 and perhaps hurt him again, but I doubt he will have any real headway. This is all leading up to the return of the captains that were stuck in Hueco Mundo, who will then assist Ichigo in the fight.
Final Thoughts: I thought I was reading Bleach, not “Just as Planned” Light Yagami. Damn it Aizen I hate you!
