@Dreamer: Its fine here because its about manga. :P

What has GeGeGe No Kitaro done to be in this list? Other then being one of he few Kamishibai products that has survived WWII due to being adapted in to a manga.

OP hasn't changed anything more then any other other manga in the HST.

Hell FMA:COS was praised by critics to have had on of the best endings in anime history,Death Note was one of the only shonens that wasn't of the Naruto or OP genre to become popular as hell plus iy add poeples actually making there own death notes and actually going out and murdering poeples.

According to recent sales figures, the circulation of Weekly Shonen Magazine has dropped below 2 million, while the circulation of Weekly Shonen Jump experienced a slight increase. According to Minegishi, Director of Kodansha's sales division, "Only Weekly Shonen Magazine and Young Magazine are making a profit among Kodansha's manga magazine line-up. Monthly Shonen Magazine breaks even, while the others are showing deficit."

In comparison with sales from 10 years ago, Weekly Shonen Jump's circulation has dropped 2.8 million, and Weekly Shonen Magazine's circulation is around 1.9 million. If the manga magazines experience declining sales, the publishers won't be able to make a profit unless tankobon achieves good sales.

Editor-in-Chief Ibaraki (In March he was assigned as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine that will replace Monthly Shonen Jump) said, "The popularity of One Piece once lost its lead, but now it's back to the top again. The reason for One Piece's comeback is thanks to author's (Eiichrou Oda) great effort. Thanks to the comeback of One Peace, the circulation of Weekly Shonen Jump increased from 2.75 million to 2.78 million last December. This is the first time in 11 years Weekly Jump's sales have increased."
