It's all anime today, so let's do this thing!
- Coolest tidbit of the day? Definitely this: a new company called Zakka Films is releasing a DVD with eight of the earliest anime ever, created between 1930 and 1942. Totally want.
- From old anime to new...a trailer for the upcoming Basquash anime is now online. Just hit the “Play Movie” button on the left. There's also a trailer for Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou up at its official site; click the circle in the lower-right corner.
- Nebs reports that the Sci-Fi channel is going to air the anime Rave Master...which is kind of odd, because it's a few years old now, plus it's one of the few anime handled by TOKYOPOP, who has generally shown more interest in films than in promoting its anime. Anyway, read the article for a bunch more information on the future of Gundam 00 and other anime on the station.
- Finally, word from FujiSankei's Business.i is that Fujiko F. Fujio, aka Doraemon creator Hiroshi Fujimoto, is getting a museum dedicated to him in his hometown of Kawasaki. Omedetou, Fujio-sensei!
