As Part of the Seven New Projects Celebrating the 7th Anniversary of the Zettai Karen Children Manga, A New Anime Project Based on the Franchise is Now in the Works

Penned by the talented manga writer Takashi Shiina, the popular Zettai Karen Children franchise has been a mainstay of the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine for the past seven years. It was announced in the latest issue of WSS that the franchise will be getting a new anime project (TBA/TBD) in the future. Back in 2008, Sentai Filmworks took the franchise and ended up producing what is known as the Psychic Squad anime, and it also received a OVA in 2010. Not a lot of information regarding how the new anime project for Zettai Karen Children was released, but can be expected to have more revealed in the near future. Well, they haven't announced that it's a series yet; just that it's a new anime project. That could range from 52 episode series or a 20 minute OVA.

I hope it's either a super long series like the first season or they make a short 13 episode run but the production values are super high... like Nisemonogatari levels.

Cool, I still need to finish this series. I don't know enough about the canon to make a better guess, but the older teen psychic girl, Naomi Umegae aka Wild Cat would be a good choice. I think in the manga she's 18 now, in college and overseeing a younger set of psychic twins. Apparently, like all good manga, there was a 2 year time jump.
