A Survey of the Top Ten Strongest Anime Characters

American fans are not the only ones concerned with who is the strongest among the strongest anime characters in the world. 10,000 Japanese fans have been surveyed on exactly who the strongest anime/manga character ever was. The results are in, and of course a majority of Japanese fans picked Goku as the top contender; being the godly, undefeatable martial artists that he is (though he still can’t defeat heart disease). Here is how it breaks down: 

Goku (Dragonball)
Doraemon (Doraemon)
Arale Norimaki (Dr. Slump)
Kenshiro (Hokuto no Ken)
Kankichi Ryoutsu (Kochikame)
Atom (Tetsuwan Atom)
Gohan (Dragonball)
Duke Togo (Golgo 13)
Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)
Suguru Kinniku (Kinniku Man)


Remember this isn’t a list from most powerful to least powerful, but people voting for who they believe is the strongest. These answers are very much in tune with Japanese tastes and popularity; that’s why you won’t see someone like Guts on this list. Either way, I wish somehow everyone would have voted for Duke Togo; because we all know he would be able to take out Goku.

There's a thread about this kind of thing on the forums right now-- people complaining about how Naruto could totally kick all these guys' asses or something. Interesting that he's not even on this list.

Golgo 13 doesn't need fancy schmancy superpowers to be a bad ass.  Sniper bullet to the head, just one shot from long range and it will be all over.  Won't know what hit 'em.  Next victim.............
 
Naruto?  Seriously?!  In case anyone is wondering, I am not a Naruto fan.  Even Gohan can take out Naruto.
