"We go!" written, composed by same team that created 1st theme song "We Are!"

The 41st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that singer Hiroshi Kitadani will return to the One Piece television series to perform the anime's new theme song "We go!" The song will premiere with the October 2 episode, which is also the launch of the New World story arc.

Weekly Shonen Jump describes the new song as an "answer song" in response to "We Are!" — the first One Piece opening theme that Kitadani also sang. Shouko Fujibayashi and Kouhei Tanaka wrote and composed "We Are!" and the "golden team" will return in the same roles for "We go!"

That's cool. It's not my favorite of the One Piece opening songs, but it's enjoyable enough. It's probably appropriate, too with the New World arc beginning then.

Awesome! We Are is one of my favourite openings for One Piece. Can't wait to hear the new tune.
