Please check Ethan's rules on hentai images. We don't allowed pornographic images, but we do allow wiki articles on H anime and manga.
@silver_wolf13: At one point it was allowed, and it got way out of hand. So out of hand, in fact, that Google nearly cut us off of their search engine.
When that came to light, Ethan and the others decided to take a stand and remove all images that are NSFW (Not Safe for Work) and censoring those necessary images that were allowed to stay. You can still upload some hentai-related images (example: for the volume page of a H-manga, such as Maid Bride), but they MUST be censored for it to be allowed on the site.
Below is such an example of proper censoring:

@silver_wolf13: I'm sure the others already told you, but once upon a time, Hentai images were allowed into the wiki, but never on the forums. Everyone that had the gall to add such things uploaded so much of it, Google ended up flagging the site as a porno site. The previous boss of the site (Ethan) didn't like this outcome at all, so he enforced everyone to remove all Hentai images and concepts in order to bring AV back to the regular results (because if he didn't, we would've lost a lot of site viewers). From there on, that very rule has been enforced. Pages for Hentai titles are still allowed, but they have to have an article or else they might get deleted.
The censorship thing that ShadowKnight mentioned above me is still okay, so whenever we come across such an cover image again, we can censor it if/when we have the tools.

It's not sexist. You're acting as if the chest of a man and woman are physically and/or structurally identical, like an arm of something. There are structural and biological differences that account for exposing one publicly is ok while the other isn't.

I always found the google deslisting threat a bit weird. I mean, the site that invented the Hen-Tie shirt is still listed at the top of google if you search for their site name.
The reason is perfectly understandable though. This isn't a pornographic site, and the majority of the viewers do not come seeking it. Unless we're going to age gate half the images on here, hentai has no place here.

@Turambar: Anime Vice wasn't removed from regular Google search results (as far as I'm aware), what happened was the site had enough hentai images on it that Google removed all of our images from "safe" image search results so they would only show up with safe search turned off. By default, most people searching images on Google have safe search on, so they weren't finding our images any more. Apparently, this cut visitors to the site in half, so we cut down on the hentai images and Google classed us as a safe site again.

@rhapsody_my_ass: @silver_wolf13: If you are that desperate for "naked cartoon pussy" (as one duder put it), then maybe you can fuck off to some other site instead of whining that this site is not validating your disturbing preferences? There are a shitton out there that will gladly suffice.
