Hello, and welcome back to this feature of Anime Vice ! Congratulations to last time's winner ShadowKnight508, and remember, you cannot vote for him or FoxxFireArt as they have already won. Now, unto this month's nominations ! This thread will end October 29th at 12:00 a.m. So, get those votes in !

User Should

- Be respectful to other users old and new

- Be respectful to Moderators and Staff

- Have some experience with the Wiki and Forums, more Wiki activity will make for a more elaborate thread

- Be somewhat active

- Have some blog or review activity, either or both would suffice, the more I have the more elaborate the winners thread will be

Rules

- Can only vote for one person

- Give reasons for your votes, links are also highly recommended

- Do not scrutinize anyone for their choice

- Users will not be chosen simply for the number of votes, but also for the quality of their nominations, so if you want your chosen user to win, give good details explaining why

- Do not choose someone for popularity, or else your vote will not be taken into account

- You may vote for yourself, but you must still give reasons as to why you feel you should be recognized for this award

Good luck !

Fire Star

I'm not voting until the end of the month but I'm glad this is back.

Yes, I wouldn't advise anyone to vote too early in the month, I just like to have it out there for those that vote a little early and so on.

I'm not nominating anyone, since there's been hardly any activity from anyone here except sotyfan16 and a few of the mods... not really anything of mention from any of them, either.

A little side not to everyone, because this has occurred a few times in the past, if you are not going to nominate someone, don't comment. Thanks.

@Fire Star: I'm not saying I'm not nominating anyone... it's just that there's been a lot of content from a lot of users the past few months- just nothing worthy of nominating anhy for quite yet. Actually take the time to read what someone says before bashing them in the head with the lock hammer, k?

I nominate user Takashichea for all of his hard work on SKET Dance, Fairy Tail, Beelzebub, Shaman King, and the features he writes for the site (Weekly Blue Exorcist, Weekly Beelzebub, and Weekly SKET Dance). In addition, his work in the Wiki over the past 3 months has been nothing short of impressive.

I nominate myself for the sake of nominating myself.

You have to have reasons, read the Rules.

There's a lot of people that I want to nominate, but I have to pick one.

I'll nominate Annabanana because she works so hard on Fairy Tail, Beelzebub, and Sket Dance despite her busy college schedule. For solo projects, she works on Buster Keel and Yankee kun to Megane Chan. That's not all though. She has better vocabulary than me, can articulate well in her writing, and is very sincere to new wiki editors. She's pretty fast on her bounty tasks. I couldn't catch up to her.

She is the most sweetest and most sincerest wiki editor I know.

See Fairy Tail Bounty Hunter Blog and Fairy Tail Recognition Blog

Best Episode Works

This is only the tip of the iceberg. She does episodes each week and alternate with her teammate.

Best Characters

Lucy Heartphilia, Erza Knightwalker, Natsu Dragneel, Oga Tatsumi, Beelzebub, Aoi Kunieda,

@ShadowKnight508: @buhssuht:

Thanks. However, I think Anna deserves it more.

List updated on Oct. 27, 2011.

I nominate takashichea.

I believe he is doing a commendable job with this weekly reports on Sket Dance, Beelzebub, FairyTail and Gintama(started just now), He also inspired me to get myself to contribute to the wiki so hopefully that counts. IMO, this is the best contribution of his I read so far: HERE

@takashichea:

I'll nominate you (Taka). You have been working very hard on Wiki tasks with your group and have been active in making recognition blogs and a Beginner's Guide. I also like how you make insightful comments on Forum topics, other user's blogs, and front page articles. Keep up the good work and I look forward to working with you in the future.

People!

You need to vote for stellar community members like Sotyfan16, Superevil225 (I haven't seen any RPG people giving nominations), and others.

Why Sotyfan16?

  • He is the CEO of guides! He got mentees who are going up the rankings due to his teachings and philosophies. (You probably know these two. They wrote their first guides in October.)
  • He has the creative and innovative factor. He just invented a new type of guide. See the afro samurai guide.
  • He got dunce caps. The most recent ones are his dunce cap with a lovely community leader, Superevil225. See Dunce Cap: There's More Than One Monster in Black Lagoon.
  • He is the face of Anime Vice with four top Anime Vice users.
  • His Otaku knowledge is on the same playing field as Tom Pinchuk or even greater!
  • He has great pride in our community. He's a nice guy.
  • When someone new does not know about anime, he comes in with a lightning response. He knows what you like based on your preferences due to his OTAKU KNOWLEDGE.

Example: ChristinaAV's thread, Koshka's Recommendations for my Father Thread, and more!

Why Superevil225?

  • She is the RPG specialist who everyone knows in the community.
  • She wrote a beginner guide on Baccano!. It's her first time! It takes guts and serious writing power.
  • She started her first weekly series on Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. See 1 and 2.
  • Speaking of writing power, she has a way of words in her many RPG personas. Sassy yet eloquent writing.
  • In addition to her hard work, she has a great personality and cares for people who are outside the norms (ex: Homosexuality and others). One of her RPG personas is gay.
  • She is an activist for equal rights for everyone! She's a down to earth person.
  • She will talk on issues that people have trouble talking about such as fan service, over sexualize women, and other topics.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we need you to vote. I suggest picking these two outstanding individuals: Sotyfan16 and Superevil225, or my partner, Annabanana.

Note: Please don't pick me. I need another word for Otaku.

from the work that they've done, I \'m torn between AnnaBanana and Takashicea. both have done outstanding work with their wiki contributions and the multiple projects they have done, which I was a part of some. its a pity you can't vote for two people, they deserve it.

Post by Superevil225 (6,742 posts) See mini bio Level 17

I vote for me! XD Just kidding.

My nomination goes to Sotyfan16. He's a hard worker on articles and the wiki alike. His articles and video features and interesting and at most times funny. He's got great insight into the anime scene and his articles touch on vastly different subjects. He works amazingly hard to keep AV up and running with new content, and he's a generally awesome guy. He's made a great Afro Samurai guide, and as Taka said before: OTAKU KNOWLEDGE. :P

As well Annabanana is a great wiki editor, and a ghost of the Anime Vice community. While this sneaky editor spends a small amount of time on the forums, she makes fantastic wiki articles, and doesn't mind a little tag-team work. She's nice, awesome, and it's hard to think she's been around for only a year. Anna's got to be one of AV's best editors.

Instead of Vicer of the month, why not make these two mods? Just saying...

Post by sotyfan16 (1,341 posts) See mini bio Level 20

@JJOR64:

That's because there are supposed to only be so many Mods and being stable otherwise causes problems. Being active just in the Wiki is not enough reason to become a Mod, either. If such was the case then we would have a Mod every couple months. That kind of thing is bad for business.

I would like to nominate someone but unfortunately I am not that familiar with people here. Maybe later since we still have time.
