Things that have made you go WOW!!!!

In anime and manga what things have really made you go wow, the events that have been so amazing or shocking that you cant speak, and your jaw hits the ground. This can be anyhting from a particular event, a death or even just a individual character. So what has made you go WOW?

  • Gurren Lagann: Just about everything
  • Code Geass: Emperor Lelouch -  O_O (I believe my reaction was to laugh and say "Fuck yes"
  • The Girl Who Leapt Through Time : If you've seen it you'll know when
  • Bleach: Aizen stabbing Hinamori & kicking Shiro's ass
  • N.G.Evangelion: Episode 19 leaps to mind. But there's alot of those moments for me in Eva (Zeo is an eva 'apologist' :D)
  • Death Note: Light's Just as Planned moment, L's death
  • FLCL: Gibson 1969
  • Cowboy Bebop:  Ending, Faye's origin story

the first part of Macross Frontier, the production value of that show is high. Special the preview that they air 3 months earlier then the TV show. It was re-edited to make it episode 1.

The first time I watched the Piccolo vs Goku fight, I swear I didn't talk at all, just sat there.

Same thing with the End of Evangelion, Akira, and every other fight scene in Hellsing.

When I realized that Simon and Viral were piloting Gurren Lagann which was piloting the Arc-Gurren which was piloting the Super Galaxy Dai-Gurren which turned into the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - which at that point, everyone was piloting at the same time.

o another time I said wow was  when Lucy ripped off the girls arms and legs (i cant remember her name ATM the anime was Elfin lied )
