Series pertaining to certain genders?

I was thinking about One Piece, Fairy Tail, Bleach, and Naruto.

I know many girls who read Fairy Tail, but not many guys. Even Bleach as well. I know many girls that read Bleach as opposed to guys. I know many more guys who read One Piece and Naruto.

Are there things about these manga that pertain to certain genders? If no, I am curious what your response is. Same thing if it is yes.

Taking into account fanservice, cliches, story deliver, even characters and their fans. Are there some manga that pertain easier to a specific gender than others?

Shonen is for boys

Shoujo is for girls

Josei is for older women

Seinen is for older men

All the titles you name are Shonen

Anyway, I think gender and age doesn't matter, if you enjoy the show

I did answer your question. Those series are target to boys, but anyone can enjoy them. It just a matter of taste

@CallmeBrent: DHK answered your question as close to accurate as possilble.  Anime is all a matter of taste for the individual. I know girls who love Hellsing and I know boys who like Sailor Moon.

Anime/manga has no gender... as long as you enjoy it it's ok...
