Noriko Sakai Goes Missing

So four days ago Noriko Sakai’s husband was arrested for alleged drug possession in Tokyo. After the arrest Noriko and her 10-year-old son had gone missing for some unnamed reason. Thursday night Noriko’s son was found in Tokyo, left in the capable hands of Noriko’s friend, but the whereabouts of Noriko herself are still unknown.

The best the police could do was track her phone, which was last seen in Yamanashi. This is not good because it leads people to thinking that she might be heading to the forest that lies at the base of Mount Fuji, named Jukai, which just so happens to be a popular place for the Japanese tradition of suicide.

Noriko Sakai for those of you who don’t know is a popular singer and actor. She sung the opening songs of such anime like Gunbuster, Video Girl Ai, and Anime Sanjushi. I hope they find her, because there is no reason to kill yourself because your husband is a druggy; think of your child baka!

She has a child and she might want to commit suicide.  That is F'ed up.

It's sad and It doesn't feel good. 
 
When you want to commit suicide when you have a child, that mean that you think that his life will be better without you.
 
My guess is that we will maybe learn some very creepy secret.

I know it Japan people being married to screw up can be shame on you and your family, but just because he's a junke dosen't meen that you can kill your self.   
 
I hope she dosen't go the way of Choi Jin-sil.

This story was actually on the hourly news on CBC Radio(Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).  The story said that she was found, or turned herself in(I forget).

Japanese actress Noriko Sakai has surrendered to police in Tokyo after disappearing earlier in the week when her husband was detained on drug charges.

Police had issued an arrest warrant for Sakai, whose career blossomed on her clean-cut image, after finding a small quantity of drugs in her apartment.

After surrendering on Saturday, the 38-year-old performer was arrested on suspicion of possessing illegal stimulants.

"Noriko Sakai was arrested last night and we would like to offer an apology to all her fans for the trouble caused," Masahisa Aizawa, president of Sakai's management company, Sun Music, said on Sunday.

"I would like her to reflect on what she has done and feel the weight of the crime she has committed [and] I would strongly urge her to seek rehabilitation."

Sakai's husband, Yuichi Takaso, 41, was arrested Aug. 3. The next day, Takaso's mother asked Tokyo Metropolitan Police to search for the actress and her 10-year-old son. The son was found on Thursday in Tokyo.

Sakai rose to fame at 16 as a singer and in the 1990s turned to acting. She is popular all over Asia and news of her disappearance dominated headlines during the week.

I'm glad for her child that she has been found.  That story was still running on my mind.
