IGN's top 25 Anime characters of all time

IGN published a list a few days ago on the top 25 Anime characters. Despite what your opinion of the site may be, I still think it's worth a look. Agree? Disagree? Most of the characters are pretty mainstream actually.

@rein: I agree No Alucard No Kenshiro, Naruto and Speed Racer are too high. Only saving grace I see have is Jubei made the list.

It seems like IGN makes some kind of list everyday.  They really need to stop.

I have seen worse lists, but its extremely predictable and focusing on a handful of genres and mostly modern series, aside from cameos from Lupin III and such characters. Only three  mecha characters, and TWO of them are from evangelion? Please, you are making fools of yourselves. Where is Char, Gai Shishio and Koji Kabuto?

The list definitely feels more like the "25 most popular mainstream anime characters". This doesn't surprise me though, since most lists are popularity contests.

 I'm basically a noob when it comes to anime (if noob is what you would call it lol) and but when I saw that speed racer, astro boy, and goku were the top three I died a little inside.
