How to calculate someones life span ( death note )

 1. take a number from the death note, it can be manga, anime, or the movie as longs as it shows the exact number.
2. Take the number then divided by 3556 which is the number of to live for a day for a human
3. then divide it by 365 to find out the number of years
Then your done!

You can try this on light or other characters
If you want to know the exact number of years left

  Tsugumi Ohba(author) has given the information. In Death Note: How to Read he says that the numbers are part of a formula he used to keep track of the character deaths, but in the midst of the DeathNote craze, He lost the info of the formula, so every character past Light has random numbers above their heads.

 sorry i dont know why LIght number didnt show up but it's 93312639 divide that by 3556  then dive it by 365 that you give you 
71.892875......  which is 71 years for Light

but thats how many years he would have left if he didnt get shoot...he would have leave 70 years if he didnt get shoot near the end.

That would mean Ryuk extended his own lifespan by quite a bit then at the end :D
