Despite my collection being absolutely trumped by that picture, I still consider myself a rather avid fan of anime and  manga. I mean, I love watching and reading the stuff but I don't have an urge to collect everything that I have read/watched. I only collect the select few since most of the time I just rent things out or borrow stuff from friends.

I spend more of my money on other things... like cosplaying stuff or random technology I may or may not need.

Probably when I'm older I'll buy more but for now I'll stick with my small collection.

damn, nice collection. I wish, I got some monies to build a kick ass collection. But what I lack in item I do make out in Anime knowledge.

My collection is quite pathetic compared to yours (just a bit more than 200 DVDs). ^_^; I collected them when I was a university student years ago. I'm a poor guy now. :(

At last count I only have about 350 individual anime DVD discs not counting bonus feature discs for movies... I don't know exactly how many are in that photo but I can safely say I think that photo has more. I'm not even going to attempt to list all of them since that would take too long...

I only have like 100-150 DVDs (that's including every boxset) and very few selected mangas and doujins, I think that's big enough. The rest is in my computer :P.

I need more figures though.

i try to watch at least 2-3 episodes a day of whatever anime i am working through. dont watch online, i have a kick ass HD tv so i prefer to watch what i have on dvd
