General Discussion

Been living in Japan for just over a year now. I live just over an hour from Kyoto and just under two hours from Osaka. I'm in Shiga prefecture.
 
Trying to find either a manga/anime community in that area or a way that I can find them. I don't speak much Japanese but wiling to work through that. Just wanting to find others with similar interests and get to know them. 
 
Similar interests such as Cosplay, Doujinshi, Video Games, etc are also find. That i more than close enough.
 
Any thoughts or advice?

That is so cool that you live in Japan.  If I lived in Japan I would love to live in the Akihabara district. 
 
It's funny you live in Japan and you are still having a hard time finding club that dose Video game, Cospaly, etc.
