@Haofan123: I was thinking of ending mine off with a sad ending, but I've already planned out a tear jerking happy end. :P I love how my comedy is becoming more serious than your mystery. XD I really like how yours going though. :)

nah, your fanfic is a riot! The chemestry between claire and czeslaw is great! I feel that i have to make mine funnier though because the 'Monk" series puts a heavy emphasis on comedy and so far Ive only been working with the seriousness of death note

@Haofan123: I guess you probably need to find a balance between the Monk and the Death Note. But I do think that the move you pulled in your most recent chapter will help create the balance.

you never know until you try! your other fanfics have been met with a lot of praise from other users so I think you should definitely give whatever you're thinking of a try before writing it off completely
