@takashichea: Let me know how it goes. Those images are perfect for this, I'd pick the second one for Freed.
@Sonata: Not bad, but it's a little smaller/more zoomed out than it needs to be. This it better:
Also a picture of her wearing one of her more usual outfits would be better, but this will do for now.
Oh, and I noticed the image caption and gallery didn't quite match the guidelines. I know it doesn't seem important, but if you could make them all match that will help keep the wiki consistent.
@AgentFakku: Can you link me to the character pages so I know who they are? Also, are you sure that first picture is official artwork?
@sickVisionz: After seeing how well it worked on MyAnimeList I decided to go for a similar format. I think the tall images look better on the character pages themselves, letting you see a little more of the character than just the face while also still working perfectly when translated into icons. It's a best of both worlds sort of thing. As for anyone having trouble cropping images they can try the tutorial and if they're still having trouble they can leave a request here.
I still need practice. I still couldn't find a good image for Saber. I'll skip her and do Rin Tohsaka. Saber needs an expert on her page. I'm just a novice.
I think this is a great idea. I like a lot the Transparent PNG, but sometimes is difficult to find a full body picture and edit it, this new format is better and easier.
Nevertheless I'm worried about one thing, Have all the moderators and important wiki editors already approved this?, I don´t want to see people complaining about this if I start making a lot of profile portraits.
By the way, here is the profile portrait of Kyoka Manyuu:
The texture of the scan is still visible, should I use an anime cap for the portrait?
Here are some new ones and an improved one for Ash:
@takashichea: @Sonata: Good to see you guys getting the hang of it.
@Sonata That looks really squished to me, like the aspect ratio wasn't maintained when you resized it. If you used Paint.NET remember to hold the shift key down while resizing, if you used Photoshop you need to click the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" button in the toolbar at the top. The icon is a chain.
Also, isn't that a light novel or manga image? Since she appears in anime, an anime image should be used.
Other than that, keep up the good work guys.
