I know you guys probably caught wind of Del Rey's newest title P&P&Z: The graphic novel, but I just wanted to stress how good an idea this really is. Now, like just about every other 15 year old girl stuck in a boy's body... I love Pride and Prejudice. Zombies, however, are a hard, but delicious sell.
See, I'm all about the undead action, but how visceral are those masses in print? How many words are used to describe what one panel of 5000 zombies perfectly conveys?
What it boils down to is that big, long, wordy books have already been done. That "was" Jane Austin. Here, in that visual novel format we love so much, Pride AND Prejudice AND Zombies will really come out into its own right.
(though, I would like to see a story explore the impacts of prejudice and pride on zombie society.)

I bought this for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago actually, and it seemed pretty cool. Although, I'm not sure what exactly the criteria are to be considered a "graphic" novel, but there weren't that many illustrations in it. They were full page illustrations though, so that might be all you need. But if that's the case, Harry Potter could almost be considered a graphic novel series, as it has a pic every chapter lol.

Will there also be a graphic novelization of Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters?
