conventions in new york?

i've been wanting to go to a manga/ anime convention for a while but don't know when any of them are. i would appreciate if you could give me information for conventions near the rochester, ny area.

Seems like there's a big convention in New York (I'm from Australia) but I'd definitely go if I was in the area.
