Welcome to the Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! anime discussion! Boy, that's a long title.
Plot
Genre: Romance, Comedy
"Chuunibyou" is loosely defined as "middle-schooler syndrome," a phase that everyone seems to go through in their middle school years where they pretend they are a superhero, eat weird new foods, or obsess over different things they find cool or interesting. Eventually, they grow out of it, and feel embarrassed every time they remember it.
As Yuuta Togashi enters high school, he remembers how obsessed he was with acting like an original anime character he named "Dark Flame Master" and decides to put that embarrassing past behind him. However, a girl who lives in the apartment directly above his and goes to the same school still has delusions of being a magical anti-hero herself, and she won't leave Yuuta alone as she includes him in her fantasies.

Why You Should Watch This?
For now, this is blank. If you're a big fan with a nice blurb, I'll be glad to put it down in this thread. Be sure to support your favorite anime series.
Why should you watch this? Because if you are in middle or high school and you are on this site then chances are you feel or used to feel like Yuuta at one point, where you look back at the things you thought were cool, the stories you wrote that seemed amazing, and now feel embarrassed every time your brain brings it up. Also like Yuuta, on occasion I'd run into a girl from one of my classes who never really got past that phase of pretending she was a character from Sailor Moon and wrote various fanfics about it.
So yeah, watch this show, you can probably relate to at least one of the characters in some way. Plus the "epic" fight scenes are hilarious when they suddenly cut to what's actually happening.
