Apparently the state senate of Arizona isn't content to just make it legal to hassle all Hispanics for their paperwork-- word is that they just passed a bill making it illegal to "intentionally or knowingly creat[e] a human-animal hybrid."
I have no idea why exactly they were so worried about this, but the law prohibits anyone in AZ from attempting to make a human baby with an animal by any means, including transferring a nonhuman embryo into a human, or a human embryo into a non-human.
Fullmetal Alchemist's Tucker, but surely that's already covered as assault, murder, child abuse, and animal abuse-- enough to get the needle in Arizona OR Louisiana.
So if you're the kind of weirdo who thinks catgirls-- or dog girls or wolf girls or whatever --are actually plausible science and looks forward to it, protip: move away from Arizona. And Louisiana. (Via Otaku Review.)
