So if this many members are having problems with this, does that mean the staff is working on this?

@MohsinMan99: Ideally, although there's been a chronic issue where users can't add anime and manga series to the site. If the inability to add content to a Wiki-based site is considered to be a minor bug that's not worth fixing, I'm not sure where this one will rank on the scale of importance.

@sickVisionz:  My new tactic for dealing with this is just writing on my CV blog without publishing of course, then copying and pasting my work to AV, seems to work well, this response was done that way! Creative troubleshooting at work LOL

From what  hear this is happening with almost everyone.

I have the exact same problem.
Somehow, all the text has black tint instead of the usual white in edit/posting mode.
Win XP / Firefox + Chrome
Neither browser works.
Although, installing my old MS Explorer did solve the problem, somehow.:p

it is seems to be vicewide problem
which version of IE? 6? 7?
Post by Validimus (147 posts) See mini bio Level 10
I guess it's still 6:p
It solved the problem by turning the textbox completely white. Black text with white background works just fine, I guess.:p

@Validimus: How did you turn the text box white?
Post by Validimus (147 posts) See mini bio Level 10
@Superevil225
By installing a crappy Explorer that can't handle half of the graphic stuff on the Vice.:p
Post by Superevil225 (6,742 posts) See mini bio Level 17
@Validimus: lol I guess that would work. XD

@Superevil225: It does.
I can't do anything too advanced though.:p

@Validimus: Ugh, I'd hate to eventually have to install IE.

 I also have this problem:

1. What browser are you using?

Google Chrome 12

2. What Operating System are you using?

Windows Vista

3. What is the exact link to the page you are having a problem with?

Queen's Blade: Beautiful Warriors Episodes 03 and 04
This page

4. Details, details, details. Explain it in detail.

When I write something in a episode page or in the forum, all the letters are in black, you can see them but it's really annoying, besides that, the font it's different. The letters are also black when I edit my post.

Strangely it's been fine on my end (I've used it in Chrome in Vista, Firefox in Vista/OSX, and Safari in OSX). You guys are using the new editor, right? I have the issue you all are describing when I do stuff with the old editor but the new editor is always white text on black background.

could that be because you are a mod and have different site tools then us unwashed masses?

@Superevil225: @Validimus: One probably can do this if we have found out which part of grpahics that need to be "offed" in the browser, for example most adds can be turned off by rejecting flash or Javascripts. troublesome isn't it?

@sickVisionz: Hm, is there a method to switch between the new and old editor?
Because I'm still having the black text problem...
