Incorrect News Comment Count in Headline View

I don't know how many readers use the headlines view to scan the news section but I just noticed that all the story entries in that mode list "0 comments" even though most of them have 1 or more. Might only take a quick fix to make both views pull from the same most recent comment count value, I don't know how the site's code is set up to handle both views.
