@FLCL1: look at it this way, we got a god who took eons to create something more powerfull than themselves, they did it...... but it takes time, but haruhi can just wish it ( i wish there's this uber being) and haruhi can just wished it back anyway

But yes as pointed out by cfatalis, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's power is great enough where it can conjure up power the equivalent of the Big Bang and can tear holes through dimensions making the mecha seemingly god-like.
And FLCL1, the higher being the Choushin sought out has far greater power than Tokimi could muster. Even while being capable of creating the universe with her sisters, Tokimi had to combine her power with Tsunami and Washu to contain Tenchi's power to prevent a multiversal collapse. Slayers also has its own universe creating god in the form of the Lord of Nightmares.

Haruhi is universal. Tokimi, as with the other chousin, are Multiversal deities. Tokimi could take on the Living Tribunal. The 'good guys' of DC/Marvel would be shitstomped by Tokimi. Just creating more than 10 LHW shatters the universe as a side-effect.
