l just came up on this idea that there is no such thing as the ultimate power or ability and that every thing has a weakness. The point of this thread is such to find creative and alternative  ways to deal with character abilities, possibly to help reduce HAX or Broken abilities . This could maybe help in battles or just for randomness
 
Rules
  • Any powers at all from Manga/Anime/Comics/Videogame... etc
  • No same powers within the span of six posts
  • Same powers need different solutions
  • The description why must at least be in ten words
  • You must find  a solution to beat the answer above
  •  Name the character who's power you want as reference. After all every characters' powers have their limitations and weak points which can't be decried in such a vague thing like the category of it. "
 
Example :
 
Healing Factor - gives the user the ability to heal from dangerous wounds
 
Death Touch - gives death upon contact thus negating any chance of return  [with exceptions]
 
Solution :
 
Laser Vision - death touch only works upon contact so it is safe to assume that the user of that power can be sniped with laser vision
 
and so on , so forth

To defeat laser vision i would use teleportation, Because Laser vision Can  normally only go in the direction the user is facing, and it would be easy to get behind The Opponent.

Combat mage isn't a power at all, so the game is a bit broken now.
 
But anyways:
Combat mage
Solution: High class mage
No matter how good the enemy is as a combat mage, with proper preparations and of course the obviously stronger and more advanced magic you beat him/her(and combat mages are average at magic at best). Combat mage's main power is the versaity, so he's weak when the opponent can utilise his/her powers the best.
 
But please stop with the character types and go back to the topic aka. the powers. I start it:
Electricity manipulation.
EDIT: Let's put electricity manipulation to two tiers: The low tier one is like we though about Hei's powers. Channelling electricity on touch or through good conductors. The High tier should be Misaka's obviously. Magnetism, storms, electricity power like a nuclear reactor's performance, iron dust, railgun...
You can post solution(s) to either of them or both.
