Yeah they would last like 1 second.. lol! Even blood bending would be useless against him since he doesn't need to move at all to bend. Imagine if Amon tried to take away his bending? lol.. the moment he tries to do it, Combustion man blows him up to pieces since he needs to get close to take away bending.

And I was hoping that CM would come up in LoK somehow. But not really... Seriously, I don't know how but they should get someone like him in part 2.

Actually CM was mentioned in LoK! by Sokka.

I doubt they will ever make someone as powerful as him... maybe that's the reason they took him out before Sozin's Comet cause he would be unstoppable and would claim his position as Fire Lord or even the Phoenix King by Killing Ozai while he was in the air ship.
