I'm not measuring Cell Strength I'm measuring Piccolo's durability, If an attack like that was able to put him down later in the series, the same would most likely occur earlier in the series with Iron Man, Namor and WWH vast strength. "

DBZ is far to inconsistent to give good answers, but I believe all of the character strength is purely Energy projection not physical strength. Krillin and Tien both struggling to knock down a steel door, is prime example. "
