Battles

Who would win? Considering that Zuko later in the series was taught how to properly firebend by the original firebenders: The Last Dragons because of his previous wrong idea that firebending was fueled by rage and destruction which made his firebending weak which is the main reason for his training with the dragons. Now Ozai's full potential was never shown as his only real battle scene was against Aang however his firebending was being enhanced by Sozin's Comets.  
 
Rules: 
1. Character Morals do not apply and both characters are willing to kill. 
 2. It is a random encounter in a wide open environment 
3. No aid from outside forces.   
4. No weapons.
 
Provide logical and proper arguments, do not simply utter something as idiotic as: Zuko stomps!! 
 
So who wins?

Iroh was believed to be a better firebender than Ozai and is more feared. Fighting experience wouldn't be an advantage considering that Zuko has more unarmed combat training than Ozai as he was able to break apart oncoming spears with his hands and legs, disarm. subdue and defeat opponents with his unarmed fighting skill.

Iroh was believed to be a better firebender than Ozai and is more feared. It is believed that Iroh is the only other Firebender to rival him, not necessarily better. And we all know Iroh>Zuko. However, Iroh himself has shown some doubts about that claim. Ozai is able to quickly generate extremely powerful lightning without having to slowly move his arms in a circular direction (he instead moves both arms quickly in a circular direction, performing the same movements, just much faster) "

Iroh's doubt was not out of belief that he could not defeat Ozai, he simply did not want to physically confront and harm his brother. Iroh is a more creative and harmonic firbender than Ozai, he is one of the few to be able to redirect lightning a technique feared by both Ozai and Azula, he was taught how to firebend by the Last Dragons, he created the technique of redirecting lightning by observing the swift and fluid movements of the Waterbenders and how they use the power of projectiles against them. So it is quite clear that Iroh is a better firebender than Ozai.

Iroh is also better than Zuko LOL. But I still say Ozai wins, but it could be a tie. "

I believe it is ridiculously clear that Iroh is a more innovative firebender than Zuko.
