@cfatalis: Link also has access to spells in Zelda II and Ocarina of Time such as the Reflect and Thunder spells of Zelda II and the magic arrows and goddess abilities given to him by the Great Fairies in Ocarina of Time. He's also fought evil scourges that threatened Hyrule from Ganon to Dark Link, his dark counterpart. Link also has a diverse number of items and weapons he can fight and defend against enemies with like bombs, bow and arrows, a hookshot, shields, swords masks that let him transform into different creatures and even magical gauntlets that grant him the strength to lift heavy objects like giant statues and boulders. All of this gives Link a diverse number of methods to deal with his enemies while Sora is limited to his abilities and Keyblade variations, as well as the nine spells he learned from both Kingdom Hearts games.

it all depends on which link, for example link of ocarina of time can just go back in time and kill sora, well assume too fast i guess

@cfatalis: If game version's a factor in this battle, then that factor would also apply to Sora. KH1 Sora isn't as adept with using his Keyblade yet has access to potent spells like Stop, Gravity and Aero. KH2 is a more competent Keyblade wielder and while not having the potent spells of his KH1 self, still has some powerful defensive ones like Reflect and Magnet.

well it depend which version of link, KH has continuation story, so it's the same sora, but in links case all his ability went down after one game e.g he doesn't have ocarina of time in twilight princess, while sora keep on growing in each game

@cfatalis: When Sora entered Castle Oblivion in KH: CoM, he lost his memories of every spell and attack he learned from KH1. He had to relearn his elemental spells and Cure in KH2.

true but after that the skill stay the same, and they are only one version of sora in which there are no side games, link however has many side games in which it doesn't connect, as in zelda doesn't have a timeline, for example majora mask is only limited to one game, ocarina of time is limited to ocarina of time and the hourglass is limited to phantom hourglass

Actually, Majora's mask is a direct sequel to Ocarina of time, and Phantom Hourglass is a direct sequel of Windwaker.

I don't think magic spells would be very productive against Link and his Mirror Shield.

again which version of link is this ?, if it's the original link from zelda 1 , sora stomps hard, if it's ocarina, links can just go back in time

I'd say it'd be a compilation of every link, though I think we could leave the time traveling bit out since it's kind of cheap. In a straight up battle, I think mashup link would beat Sora at his best
Post by cfatalis (19,150 posts) See mini bio Level 15
well if it's mash-up link, link wons, by this combo , phantom hourglass, stab sora, or many other way

however if it's just one version of link...... sora wins

@FLCL1: Assuming that Sora is fighting alone in this battle, he can't Drive into Final. He needs two party members to help go into the Drive.
