Doesn't matter... Captain carries the flag with honor.
If Supes was all American he would been carrying the American Flag as his cape.
Also Captain was born is America. I guess that makes him a real American lol.

Also, Superman has fought in a war before... if he lost his limbs, he would still fight... unlike Goku, who is afraid of needles. Yeah, I went there. lol.

Kal-El is an alien and Captain isn't.
Well if Goku is afraid of needles (comic relief tho since the needle can break on him since bullets to the head don't do nothing to him as a kid) than be it... at least he is not afraid of a stupid green pebble like Kal is... that's more lame than anything :P
@MarioRedfield: Captain would face Thanos for USA even if he doesn't have super powers... Supe... I mean Kal-El would run and hide from Thanos if he had no powers and ask Batman for tips :P
No he wouldn't, or else he would had been afraid of Cell's tail since it looks like a needle and it's green :P
