Darth Nihilus
Darth Nihilus

vs

Frieza
Frieza

All feats apply for Nihilus.

Both are at full power.

Win is by death.

Location is on Planet Zebes, Brinstar.

Both have heard of each other and know what they are capable of.

Who wins?

Freeza, easily.

@generator2000: Uh no not easily.

Casually life wipes a planet

He can extend this across a star system, making him a multi-planet life wiper.

Ok, but Frieza still has too many physical advantages and power. Frieza should take this easily, still.

he mindfucks frieza into hell

Nihilus gets annihilated with ease. Frieza is way faster and stronger. And Force Drain isn't instant as I recall.

depends on the starting distance, because with that AoE nihilus can easily destroy frieza's mind

He can extend this across a star system, making him a multi-planet life wiper.

Proof that he can do this across a star system at once, please, because this planet-level feat is the best I've seen of him.

And for the record, casually destroying a planet>>>wiping the life from it.

Sorry, don't see it happening. Mindrape was never Nihilus's strong suit, and it certainly wasn't his first strategy in battle. It's entirely possible for Freiza to blast him to shiz before he can actually do anything, he's outclassed here.

Getting real tired of some people overhyping Star Wars. Had one guy on comicvine once tell me that Palpatine>>DBZverse. Good times, always good for a laugh.

@GIRUGAMESH: it could happen. not that its a must for this battle but im mentioning one of the possible outcomes.

Wow, you are the first person to have said that. I had a guy tell me that Luke Skywalker was going to beat a pre 52, sun amped Superman who wanted to kill him. Comicvine LOL.

What the hell? Star Wars isn't THAT powerful. If anything, the top tiers are in the early DBZ sagas level (Saiyan and Namek). Those people you must have debated must have been on that crazy shit.

@othus12: Now that I think about it, when did Nihilus actually use mind rape? My memory's a little hazy on that.

@generator2000: 'Comicvine LOL' is right. People on there know sh*t all about anime/manga. Another hilarious instance was when they were too butthurt to accept that Kakashi would beat Spiderman using kamui, or that Iceman would lose to Goku.

@IndridCold: If that's your opinion, I have to wonder why you were arguing for Nihilus in this thread :S

I guess you must rate Nihilus pretty highly, right? (For the record, I kinda do as well. I'd be happy to call him one of the top 5 sith in the whole extended universe, alongside prime Sidious, Naga Sado and Lord Vitiate. Not sure who the 5th would be).

Post by IndridCold (1,400 posts) See mini bio Level 14

@GIRUGAMESH: Of course, he is one of the most powerful sith lords. With these feats, I was thinking he could fight Freeza in a good fight. Maybe Sidious needs to be used or Naga Sado? Those guys are really powerful too.

Post by othus12 (7,656 posts) See mini bio Level 13

@GIRUGAMESH: idk much about the character but if he has that much control over the force i guess he should have a decent ammount of mind abilities too right?

Post by deadman323 (251 posts) See mini bio Level 12
@IndridCold: use naga sadow
Post by GIRUGAMESH (2,226 posts) See mini bio Level 10

@othus12: Well I'm sure Nihilus could manage some kind of mind attack, but he certainly wasn't proficient with mind hax. I don't remember him ever showing anything impressive with it, and I doubt he'd use it against Freiza (it would take someone of greater aptitude with it to be effective here anyway). Nihilus specialised in external, forceful attacks, as well as, of course, his uber life drain abilities.

Point is, it's not happening here. You can't always assume that mind hax is always a good option just because they're a strong force user.

@deadman323: Naga Sadow would give Freiza even less of a fight. He was easily one of the strongest sith sorcerers ever, but all his best feats were accomplished when he was in his meditation sphere (manipulating solar energy, surveying the entire galaxy, spawning armies on random worlds out of nowhere), when he had a deep level of focus. In a straight fight he's much less of a threat.

@IndridCold: @GIRUGAMESH: Yeah,back when I was on there, I encountered that a lot.
