@TheRedRose:

Wolverine is an anime character

On topic: Wolverine wins, with his healing factor and the better movie :)

Not necessarily. Wolverine is first and foremost a comic character and unless it is specified that anime Wolverine is used, this battle is banned. As for the fight, Wolverine wins. A light saber most likely couldn't cut through the likes of adumantium and because of his healing factor, Maul couldn't inflict any fatal wounds.

@taichokage: Actually they can use force in order to enchance strength of their saber and make it able to cut through anything

That's bullshit and you know it. There's more than a dozen substances in SW itself that a lightsaber can't cut through, regardless of who was wielding it. Cortosis, Mandalorian Iron, Phrikite, the hide of the Zilo beast, and energy shields clearly stop lightsabers. None of these are indestructible or even close to it. Adamantium is Nigh-Indestructible, even in a universe where figures have strength enough to wreck planets, crush stars and other such craziness. Adamantium has never been broken without a plot-device or reality warping.

Since this battle does not feature a anime-related character (sorry Wolverine, back to ComicVine with you), this thread is now locked.
