well, ryuk is a demon sirit of some kind. and is not influenced by anything in the real world.

Isn't the first rule of the deathnote  "The human whose name is written in this note shall die." Darkseid Isn't a human. And Darkseid's full name is just that... Darkseid.

Darkseid very easily with the Omega Effect, plus FLCL1 brought out a good point Ryuk has never fought anybody physically. He will just stand there with the goofy look on his face as Darkseid blast him into oblivion.

I roflmao at this comment "he'll just stand there with his stupid look on his face while the Omega effect blasts him into oblivion"... Ryuk is a god though, correct?

Lol the first four words in the article say "Shinigami are death gods"... But I guess that doesn't mean he is quite at that stature...

Unlike everyone here I'm having a hard time believing that darkseid omega beams would affect the guy. Seeing he's never fought or shown any powers then all these comments are merely based on biased oppinion rather than logical arguments.

I don't see you making any arguements. Darkseid's Omega Beams have been known to travel through all space/time/reality and vaporize even gods.
