Believe Madara might be a bit too much for Luffy to handle, which is surprising to admit considering One Piece normally has the best strength and speed feats of the HST. Both are about on par with each other in strength and speed if Madara is at base stats. But once Madara whips out Susanoo and other doujutsu abilities, Luffy's quite screwed here as he won't have the durability and speed to tank and evade the destructive capabilities of Susanoo's attacks, especially the freakin' meteor attack.

@Dream: but a mere jet pistol would kill madara and he is far slower if luffy goes at full like againts the pacifista madara has no chance to beat luffy true madara has more power but he is slow and has very little endurance.

@othus12: Madara's been shown capable of evading Gaara's sand attacks rather easily and could guard blows from Tsunade and even the Raikage while he was in his Lightning Release Armor, the latter feats showing he clearly he has a high level of superhuman strength and endurance without Susanoo as weaker ninja would have been killed or seriously injured from such attacks. So saying Madara is slow and lacking endurance is a foolish statement.

@othus12: And your point is? The battle has Madara as he is currently in the manga, so no sense in crying over spilled milk.

what is it that madara can do to someone who can't be hurt by blunt damage, makes all other damage useless with his haki, and can move faster than him as well as one hit him? Sure with edo luffy can't beat him but without it madara gets mass stomped. We don't even know if madara is capable of releasing perfect susanoo or doing any of those other large scale jutsus without the edo tensei. How powerful can he really be without edo tensei when he lost to the first with the nine tails on his side?

How "current" are we talking about here? Because necroing this thread kinda changes the intentions of the OP. This thread was made back when "Madara" was "Obito." So, the opponent should either be a living Madara or Current obito. Both have terrible durability and will be one-shotted by Luffy's punches. But both either have the hax or power to make up for it, so...

Perfect Susanoo=insta win. Since this battle was made in regards to that little b!tch Obito, he wins too since all he ever does is hide behind Kamui

Except there is no "real body" of Madara that he can touch. Madara's real body is underground somewhere, well out of Luffy's range with his Haki. What you're saying is that Luffy can harm non-corporeals (which he can't).
