Westernpower houses are overrated (TOAA FTW) but as for this, well what did they do to beat him in the show?

@SilverGalford: Demonbane most likely could. I don't know about the other characters but in the OBD it was established multiple times that Zeed would beat LoN. I wouldn't comment on that because I don't know about LoN but if you want to, here's the thread:

Pretty sure DS has got nothing on him as the highest feat of him is multi galaxy busting or something . Don't know about Noein either so wouldn't comment on that.

EDIT: My bad. I gave the wrong link where I don't see any clear winner. Going through some of LoN's feats and reading some more threads of this match once again, IMO LoN beats Zeed cause of being Omnipotent or Zeed beats her if she isn't. It seems there are many inconsistencies though with her omnipotence though.

Guess I should tell you about his feats/powers before we move on.

(NOTE: All (except 1) of Zeed's feats have been performed in his sealed state. That is, a much weaker state. :)

The new season has changed things quite too much this time around. There are now at least 3 different multiverses in Digimon right now and basing on them you could look at Zeed's power in two ways.

One:

The multiverse he was in the games consisted of at least three universes IIRC and in one of those alone it was stated that there were an infinite number of alternate realities/universes in existence. Upto Frontier, the various verses overlap a lot and it's arguably the same multiverse which Zeed resides in since the characters from different universes have been shown to meet on numerous occasions in the games/manga, most of which are canon to the original series.

It's said that Zeed is so powerful, as soon as the chains/seal on him is removed, the entire existence, time/space and everything including the Digimon Multiverse would be destroyed. The seals on him were apparently put on him by the Digimon God to keep his immense power at bay. There are a number of gods in Digimon but this one is the real one based on the biblical God who has been referenced multiple times but is yet to make an appearance.

So, while this wasn't performed, theoretically, Zeed in his unsealed state can destroy an infinite multiverse just by existing.

Featwise, Zeed in his sealed state trumped two gods who were responsible for overseeing and hosting the entire digimon multiverse, exists in all points of space-time (i.e. omnipresent) ,could create clones of any Digimon which are many times more powerful than the original, could not be harmed by any Digimon then (dunno how the new digimon would fare) except Ryo, the tamer whose presence was enough to weaken him considerably (he states that they were like Yin and Yang-only one can defeat the other), is non-corporeal and can banish his foes beyond time/space and last but not the least, destroyed two universes he himself created and had total control over all of time/space save for the domain of the two gods.

Two:

As I said before, there are arguably 3 multiverses in Digimon right now.

No.1 :Adventureverse, Tamersverse, V-Tamerverse, Frontierverse, Ryo-games-verses, Digimon World 1-3/DCB verses and the other infinite universes.

No.2: Saversverse, Nextverse, DS Games verse, Lost Evolutionverse and some Jap only Digimon gameverses.

No.3: Digimon Xros Warsverse, (still airing)

Three multiverses, each of them with their own set of physical laws and timelines and so far, nobody from the other multiverse has met someone from another multiverse.

Arguably Megaversal.

tl;dr

Since the Digimonverse is continuously expanding, it is hard to place now where Zeed would rank in terms of power.

Featwise (not counting profiles and in his sealed state), he is easily an omnipresent multiversal level being having control over all of time/space and beating two multiversals and destroyed 2 universes which he himself created IIRC.

Composite Zeed (counting everything) is either:

ONE: Can destroy the Digimon Multiverse consisting of an infinite number of universes just by existing. (Multiversal+ buster)

TWO: If Digimon is considered as a megaverse, he has enough power to at least destroy his own multiverse just by existing. (Multiversal buster)

You pick what you want to agree with. I've given you many possible options starting with feats alone, feats with profile and feats+profile+powerscaling (composite)

EDIT: Something I forgot. In the game, Zeed literally "defeated" himself. He wanted to be Ryo's partner so much, he allowed Ryo to fuse him with his Digimon and combined to become an egg. Deus Ex Machina? *maybe*

Captain Universe (Spiderman) is my favorite captain as I always use him everytime in the games. But I've never read his comics cause I don't know in which issues he appears. Do you know?

@SilverGalford: Which Demonbane are you using? Cause most likely EG Demonbane can handle Zeed. "Most likely" because Demonbane tends to get overhyped a lot. Or maybe it is that powerful. It is also a VN. Whatever it is, there was this guy earlier here who claimed that Demonbane could beat TOAA, LT, etc. I'm wary of that series now. :)

I don't think the rest have good chances.

As a team, they should beat him fairly easily but not without losing a member or two.

@Levance: Yes, there is but so far he hasn't appeared apart from being referenced many times.
