"You've got it all wrong here. What functions in one universe will indeed work in another, however, Nabeshin has no power other than that of a regular human, because he is a director. It's like an egg inside of an egg, or watching a man on television watching television. Nabeshin directs his show therefore giving the allusion of power, in his show. Superman, on the other hand, is not a human director, but an actual Kryptonian with actual abilities. With Nabeshin, it's a show imitating real life into a show, therefore ending Nabeshin up in the real world as only a human. With Superman, it's DC as a fictional universe, however what we see in Superman's abilities is considered a reality, not a special effect or gimmick in a show. Leaving Nabeshin just as weak as any human being, considering he is only a human director character.
