The pic of Wolverine+Thing only makes it seem more likely that they could beat Charizard, but everyone is forgetting Charizard's new attacks+ its Dragon type moves, it may still lose, but atleast it would have a better chance of causing damage, and even though Wolverine is fast, Charizard's stats make it a 75/100 on its speed. I suppose due to Thing's typing, it may be counted as a Rock/Fighting type, and due to Charizard's half Flying type, and ability to learn some Steel type moves, it could be able to beat Thing, with the moveset of... Dragon Dance for +Speed and Attack, a choice of Overheat, Flamethrower, or Heatwave, a Dragon type move as i mentioned earlier, Dragon Pulse or Dragon Rage, and a flying type move, such as Air slash and if you could make room, Solarbeam. Therefore, with the thing i just posted, unless someone has a hole to poke in it, I think Charizard would win... Solo of course...
@CakeSauce: Nothing Charizard can do is getting through Thing's skin. Even Champion needed a while to merely break the guy's ribs. And then there's Wolverine with his insane healing factor. Either the team wins or nobody does because Charizard can remain airborne and avoid all attacks but his attacks won't work.

Even then the thing could throw wolvy at him. Charizard is best off running for his life.
