I just wanted to test out this theory that I found on the web and see what you guys think of it. I was going to post it in the OBD but those guys are insanely ruthless and impertinent so I wanted to test it here.
First off, I'm perfectly sane and not like the type of DBZ fanboy that claims SSJ4 is capable of starbusting universe busting. I just want to see if I can get a moment of patience and acknowledgement of the possibility of this. Anyways here it is:
Check this out, Vegeta in the Saiyan arc is basically considered an Earth buster. He says he can do it, and Goku takes his threat seriously.
Vegeta's battle power is a confirmed 18,000.
That means at a battle power of 18,000 he should be able to create a blast that has a 12,756 kilometer diameter...which would engulf the Earth. 12,756 kilometers is the Earth's diameter.
The solar system's diameter is a bit bigger, lol...it's 26,927,616,600 kilometers. *
But check this out, 18,000/12,756 = 1.41
So someone who wants to bust the Solar system should have a battle power of at least 1.41x 26,927,616,600.
26,927,616,600 x 1.41 = 37,967,939,406..we will just round off to 38,000,000,000 or 38 billion.
I mean here's what Ascended SSJ Vegeta was able to do
Also for people who want to bring up DBZ's planet busting to be outliers here's a reminder of what Frieza did in his first form (do not and I repeat: do not reference the special)
Also for people saying how if it's a solar system busting attack then it should've instantly destroyed planet it's a distinct and I mean ABSOLUTELY distinct possibility that Cell withheld the solar system destroying power when Gohan attacked him with his kamehameha. Thus it was limited to a planet busting attack.
Now, the other reason for why it was possible that Cell's solar system busting attack not fulfilling it's purpose once making contact with Gohan's attack is that it was canceled out once it hit Gohan's blast. As seen in Dragon Ball Z it's known that chi blasts that make contact with one another stop the other's destructive blast. This seems to hold true seeing as it was important that Gohan end the beam struggle with Cell as quickly as possible seeing as how it would've exploded and taken out the entire planet.
For people who are Saint Seiya fans let's put it this way both attacks were like the Athena Exclamation's. Both were miniature versions of their more powerful destructive capabilities.
The KHH SPC and Gohan shot at each other never blew up...neither did the one FP PC and and Gohan did earlier, or Goku's Shunkan Ido + KHH...they all never blew up. Cell got swallowed up by the beams every time..and lastly totally engulfed but it still didn't detonate. In fact it's only sensible to say that once the blast made it traveled out of Earth's atmosphere it disperses or subsides according to the attack's nature. The kamehameha subsides once it's user it through (as you see once Gohan finishes Cell). Vegeta's attack on Frieza (which had the capability to destroy an entire planet) function is to explode as we see once it's out in space.
