Ash's Father

I notice that many fans thinks that Giovanni or Professor Oak is Ash's Father. How Professor Oak can be Ash's father? Of course they both lives in Pallet Town but they aren't related. Giovanni is not Ash's father either. Pokemon Live is NOT CANON! Some fans thinks that Ash's Father is a Pokemon like Ho-Oh. When I first heard that I laughed. I think that Ash's father has black hair. Delia's hair is brown and Giovanni hair is also brown. Professor Oak had brown hair when he was young.  It's unknown who is Ash's father until writers make an episode about him.

Anyway, I've always been curious about Ash's father. I think it could make the story (if you can even still call it a story) pretty interesting if they finally introduce him. He ought to be someone tough like an Elite Four member, that would be cool.

I love the idea that his father was a pokemon. Its super stupid and implies that his mother engages in beastiality. I vote Mewtwo. I doubt this'd be the case but it'd be interesting if the reveal was that he was a nobody. Either a one night stand or just a loser who abandoned his wife and child when timed got tough.

I think Ash's dad is that Silver guy, with the Chikorita, from the Pokémon Chronicles show

@Mutant_God: Yes, I heard that too but Silver's hair is silver/grey not black. If he really Ash's father then he should return in a future episode.

I haven't really kept up with some of the newer Pokemon episodes but from what I do remember they never really gave out too much information about who could posisbly be Ash's dad. When I was younger I just always assumed he was in the Elite Four for some reason.

Now I believe I read somewhere that Ash and Red are two different characters, so that means there's two fathers we know nothing about then, right?

Ash is an android, created by Professor Oak to be the best Pokemon Master of all time. But his program was attack by a virus, causing Ash to lose all his data. That why Ash don't age and why his skills seem to reset after each region he go to :)
