@Sonata: If i can find the pics of things i used to airbrush ill post those as well.If i could get back into the swing of things with clipart studio an maybe a bamboo tablet,i could do more anime style things. Had a idea of doing difrent characters in famous movie style posters. But im months away from even getn the program or the tablet.
@Kobra678: Really apreciate that. Had some good news on medical front so maybe I can get back in shape to draw again. Maybe get a good tablet an use http://www.clipstudio.net/en/index_b?utm_expid=76283680-5.NCMmrjkxQ2KmF7O3afbZlg.1 for some fun.
Always belive any skill can be learned. Sure some have a leaning for talent in a feild but skill can overcome. Always been like Rock Lee mentality in that reguard. I look at my old stuff an knowing I can do better. So many nice tools out now to help digitaly side to.
@Marshal Victory: No problem dude. This is outstanding artwork, if you ever do start drawing again, I'd really like to see it.
I completely agree with you. Back when I first tried I didn't like it because I wasn't too good at it. But after practicing more and more I eventually got pretty decent. I've never tried digital stuff though, seems a lot harder than with paper and pencil.
@Kobra678: It is harder doing normal drawing than digital. If one can get used to a program its almost cheeting. I dont have much left of my digital work but some of my old custome ui work for everquest still around http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/preview.php?id=8172 all the borders were redone an the celtic knots were mine. The spell book center feather part if from a photo then recolored an slightly drawn over for texture.
Basicly pushing pixels is much easyer than pushing a pen or pencil. But you can get lost in the weeds with digital use. My plan is to sketch up on paper then redo an expand with digital programs. http://www.gimp.org/ is free but very hard to learn. Or at least for a old hillbilly like me any way.
@takashichea: Apreciate that bro . I will. Still have alot of things really want to do creativly if I can ,an even at a slow pace. Art teacher used to tell me my poor use of enlgish was becase I could draw. The whole right left side of the brain argument.
Keep in mind to art is just opinion. An with time an practise most any one can learn it as a skill.
@ninja2170: Thank you. An till i get a doc to fix thyroid issues an phosporus problems wount be drawing for awhile. Still have the random shakes. But when they see me this month hopefuly can get back to drawing. Even got another book on how to use http://www.gimp.org/ which is about where photoshop 7 or so was I think. But its just not intuitive at all.
Still think for me http://www.clipstudio.net/en/index_b?utm_expid=76283680-5.NCMmrjkxQ2KmF7O3afbZlg.1 will be the way to go an use GIMP for touch ups an puting things togeter. If all goes well next month ill get Clipstudio.
