Rider arrives at Oceanus, and Weaver wakes up to find Rider snoring loudly. In Caster's lair, Ryuunosuke cries over how their lair is destroyed, and Caster tells him that only a few of them understand the beauty. Caster tells him that god toys with humans and shares his experiences about how his punishment has never came. He explains that his fellow men, the Church, execute him and rob his land. Ryuunsuke tells him that the world has tons of surprises and there is a god. He tells that god is having a blast and creating a work of art with the love of labor. Furthermore, god loves both hope and despair. Ryuunosuke's words inspires Caster to create more terror and despair. Elsewhere, Weaver finds a book about Alexander the Great and reads how he left his country to see the ocean at the world's end. Rider spots Weaver and reveals that he has bought a video game. Weaver tells him that he is not interested in video games. Rider finds out that his master has been reading about him, and he wonders why he couldn't ask him. Weaver asks why the book stated that Alexander the Great is short, and Rider could care less.

At the bridge, Ryuunosuke cheers on Caster who is on the river's surface. Caster begins uttering a spell from his tome, and as Weaver and Rider return home, Weaver feels that he is not proud of claiming the Grail. Rider reassures Weaver that he would find a path that he will fight for proudly. Weaver states that Rider must feel bad being stuck with him. However, Rider pulls out an atlas and reveals the map. He tells him that he and Weaver are alike. Weaver asks why he was marching east, and Rider states that he did not reach Oceanus. Weaver notes how Rider has kept the dream alive in his heart. Rider and Saber notices Caster brewing tremendous magic on the river. Saber asks Caster what he is doing, and Caster replies that he is preparing a feast. An enormous tentacle monster engulfs Caster and begins to rise above the river. Caster announces that he will drag god from his throne. Rider arrives to assist Saber and informs her that Lancer will be here to assist as well. Iris states that Caster is the source of mana, and they have to kill Caster to end the beast before it crosses the river and feeds. Lancer states that they have lure the beast in order to launch his Gae Dearg. Rider storms off while Saber follows him on the river's surface.
