An annual anime convention held in Orlando Florida established in 2011. Also unofficially known as Florida Anime Expo. It is held in the last weekend (Friday-Sunday) of May yearly.
History
Established in 2011 due to many other Florida based anime conventions becoming less about anime and more about unrelated western culture (comic books, video games, movies, television, celebrities, and so forth), Florida Anime Experience is solidly based on Anime, Manga, Japanese pop culture, and Japanese video games. FAE has even gone so far as to have a "No Halo in our game room" rule to keep the convention solely based on the artforms and culture of Japan. Guests are often American voice over artists who provide the English language voices of iconic anime characters as well as other anime/manga personalities, writers, and artists.
Guests
Each year the convention has a variety of guests. and a single guest of honor.
