Kira Yamato is the protagonist of Gundam Seed and its sequel series Gundam Seed Destiny. Born a coordinator in neutral territory, yet fated to battle his own people, Kira is the skilled pilot of multiple Multiple Mobile Suits, most notably; the Gundams; GAT-X105 Strike and ZGMF-X10A Freedom.

Murrue Ramius is the captain of the Earth Alliance battleship Archangel.

Orga Sabnak is the drug enhanced Pilot of the GAT-X131 Calamity. He appears to be the leader of the the first stage extended's used durring the Battle of Jachin Due. He enjoys reading paperback novels.

Sai is an engineering student attending a local college on Heliopolis, a neutral Orb colony. He becomes involved with military conflicts after he and his friends are inadvertently caught in the crossfire between the EA and ZAFT during a theft of the mobile suit Gundams.

He is the pilot of the forbidden gundam GAT-X252.

Yzak is a ZAFT soldier, a member of the Le Creuset team, and the pilot of the GAT-X102 Duel Gundam.
