Flameheart

Orphen and company approach the walls of the Tower of Fang, now breached by Bloody Autumn. Meanwhile, within the tower, the Council of Elders determines that Childman is not doing enough to stop Orphen, and gives another magician, Flameheart, the task as well.

Orphen and company sneak in, and Majic and Cleao are tasked with searching the library for clues while Orphen returns to Azalie's old room. Volkan and Dortin set to looting the school's treasury of magical items. At Azalie's room, Orphen reminisces to when she tutored him in the magical arts, allowing him to earn his pendant. He returns to the library to discover that Majic has found the book, but Cleao inadvertently had knocked down a whole row of bookshelves, and Volkan had knocked down a suit of armor, making enough noise to alert the entire campus.

The party flees, while Flameheart sends his group of magical soldiers to the breach in the wall, and internally monologues over his monomaniacal ambitions. They reach a section of the school that will allow them to teleport out, only to be briefly confronted by Childman. Childman stops them, but warns them that if they get in his way, he will not hesitate to kill them. Orphen reiterates his intent to restore Azalie, no matter what, and they teleport out.
