The most violent, action-packed animated film of all time! This movie details scenes from the first fifty episodes of the anime series, leaving out many important details while introducing many Americans to the world of underground anime.
The plot is similar to the first fifty episodes of the Fist of the North Star anime series. Although it leaves out many important details, it introduced many Americans to the Japanese art style of anime when it was released in 1986. It quickly became taboo when audiences were exposed to its gratuitous levels of violence and gore and was panned by critics for the poor development of the series' central characters.
